I’m the author of two books: Booty: Girl Pirates on the High Seas, and Pregnancy to-Do's: A Book of Lists for Moms-to-Be.

I started, wrote, ran, and eventually sold the humor website Lovely Listings. The blog, a collection of captions I wrote for terrible photos from real estate listings, was second on Money Magazine’s “Annual Best List,” and was favorably reviewed in the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, Apartment Therapy, Metafilter, Slate, and the New Zealand Herald, among others.

I have an MFA in nonfiction writing from Columbia University. I now do freelance editorial work for a variety of clients.
